Nestled in the Santa Rosa Hills in the cool (Region I), western portion of the Santa Ynez Valley, the Evan's Ranch is subject to strong marine influences that, along with its different soil types and topography, make it the ideal location for growing Burgundian and select Rhone varieties.

La Marina Vineyard
– A level area adjacent to the Santa Ynez River with Marina sand soils. Planted to three clones of Chardonnay (UCD4, Wente, & Dijon 96).

Lone Oak Vineyard – a gentle, north- facing slope with Botella clay loam soils. Planted to two clones of Chardonnay (Dijon 76 & Dijon 96), three clones of Pinot Noir (Pommard, Dijon 115 & Dijon 667), and one clone of Syrah (Estrella).

Las Brisas Vineyard – A steep, north- facing slope with Tierra gravelly loam soils. Planted to two clones of Chardonnay (Dijon 95 & Dijon 548), and three clones of Syrah (99, 7, & 877).

Saddleback Vineyard – A saddle-shaped area on the upper portions of the property.

Todos Santos Vineyard – A steep, north- facing slope at the highest part of the property.
