Evan's Ranch Map

Named because it is part of the 1800 acre ranch on which the Gainey family has made their home for the last 35 years, the Home Ranch is located in the warm (Region II), eastern portion of the Santa Ynez Valley. Planted between 1984 and 1997, it has the ideal climate and soil types for Bordeaux and select Rhone varieties.

Los Robles Vineyard

A level area in front of the winery with Santa Ynez gravelly sandy loam soils. Planted to Sauvignon Blanc
and Semillon.

Meadowlark Vineyard
Level areas and south-facing slopes with Positas gravelly loam and clay soils. Planted to three clones of Merlot (Three Palms, UCD1 & UCD3), one clone of Cabernet Franc (UCD1), two clones of Sauvignon Blanc, one clone of Semillon (UCD1) and one clone of Viognier (A1).

Hillside Vineyard
A gentle, north-facing slope with Positas gravelly loam and clay soils. Planted to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Semillon and Riesling.
